Project Title: A randomized, Open-label, parallel design, phase I study to evaluate the pharmacokinetics of piperaquine oral disperasible granule formulation when administered as a single dose in the fasted and fed state compared to piperaquine hard tablets in healthy adult participants
Project Description: A clinical trial to test the food effects of a new pediatric formulation of piperaquine to be used for chemo prevention of malaria in malaria endemic areas. The current award is for covering trial set up costs. The trial funds will be included in the follow up award. This trial is initiating the strategic partnership between IHI and MMV that will be a long term program with multiple trials of various products over several years....
